Über diesen Arzt
Prof. Tonn ist ein erfahrener Spezialist für Neurochirurgie und Autor zahlreicher wissenschaftlicher Publikationen. Sein wissenschaftlicher Schwerpunkt ist klinische und experimentelle Neuroonkologie. Für seine Forschungsarbeit wurde er 1993 mit dem Tönnis Stipendium der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Neurochirurgie ausgezeichnet.

Prof. Tonn wurde am 1958 in Frankfurt am Main geboren.
- 1977 - 1983 Medizinstudium an der Justus-Liebig-Universität in Gießen
- 1983 Approbation als Arzt
- 1983 - 1990 Facharztausbildung im Bereich Neurochirurgie am Universitätsklinikum Gießen
- 1990 Facharzt für Neurochirurgie
- 1990 Oberarzt am Neurochirurgischen Universitätsklinik Gießen
- 1991 Wechsel an die Neurochirurgische Universitätsklinik Würzburg
- 1992 Habilitation
